Ready to serve? Here’s exactly what happens next, step by step.
This is where it all starts. Tell us a little about yourself and where you’d like to serve.
Fill Out the ApplicationThis is how you’ll check your schedule, get reminders, and hear from your team leader.
Use the exact same email address or phone number you put on your Dream Team application. That’s how the app knows it’s you and connects you to your team.
Pamela Joy (PJ) runs Dream Team and will personally reach out with next steps once your application comes in. Keep an eye on your inbox, including spam, just in case.
Once you’re scheduled, you’ll get a serving request right inside Church Center. Here’s where to look for it:
Look for the little red dot on the Schedule tab, that means a new request is waiting on you. Tap it, then Accept or Decline.
(This is an illustration of what to look for, not an exact screenshot of the app.)
What you wear depends on your department, your team leader will let you know if there's anything specific for your role. But no matter where you're serving, come in the very best of what you have. You're representing Jesus.
Give it a few days. If it's been over a week and you haven't heard from PJ, text or email her directly.
Of course. Just reach out to PJ and let her know where you'd rather serve.
Just decline the request in the app as soon as you know, that way your team leader can find coverage in time.
It helps either way, it's also how you'll see the church calendar, give online, and get church-wide announcements. But it's required once you're serving.
